So you focus on individuals to bash Baptists but cling to your “Church teaching” to say the Catholics are better.

But the polling represents the views of individuals and since more than 40% of the traditional Catholics express support, the priests have some work to do. Either they need to teach on the issue or teach better but the message isn't getting through. Maybe the priests could ask their colleagues, the Protestant pastors, who for the most part seem to be doing a better job. At least, the data suggests that their parishioners are getting the message better.
