The point of the story is protestants got their beliefs on morality from the Catholic Church, then because there is so many different denominations in protestantism, having wildly different views, with no doctrine whatsoever to tell them what’s right and wrong, Christianity has went to hell in a hand basket in this country.

Oh, baloney. All the different churches I have attended over the years taught morality and God's words. Y'all must never have attended a fire and brimstone service. The people were taught right from wrong in every church I attended. I do not know where you got this crazy idea. I sure do not hear God's Word taught in the few masses I have seen. Some Protestants have fallen by the roadside just like some Catholics. They all need to start reading the Bible and believing what it says. This country needs an old fashioned revival where the Bible is taught verse by verse. None of this feel good junk.
