You have been born from above, Brother, so it doesn’t matter what religion tries to say you belong to them, you’re in the Jesus family now. And going about the family business, I notice. Good, guy!
Indeed sir. We had been witnessing to one of my honey's friends, from a different denomination, for about 18 months. She told me she now fully understands the difference between saving faith and non saving knowledge of events. We will keep after her.
I remember what one of the greatest American evangelists, Dwight L Moody said. He said that he felt like a lifeboat on the sea, and his aim, was to help get as many people saved as possible, in the time he had left. From what I heard, he preached a sermon in Chicago, and told the people to consider what he said, and return the next day. That was October 8th, 1871. That same night, the Great Chicago Fire killed almost 300 people. Moody vowed he would NEVER again preach a sermon, without pressing for people to make a positive decision for Jesus. A good guy for sure.
His friend Horatio G Spofford, who wrote "It is Well With My Soul," suffered losses similar to Job, but he hung in there his whole life.
