Why attack pro-marriage conservatives with a false accusation, to defend gay marriage voting Catholics?
The judges don't say that they are voting for, or against, Catholic doctrine do they?
Why should the OP attack the Church in this instance?
He posted an article partly titled “Blame the Catholic Church!”
I simply pointed out that 1. one should not blame the Catholic Church for the actions of people whose actions go **against** Church teaching, and 2. that the SC justices are expected to set aside their “faith thinking” when rendering decisions.
Those who ruled that same-sex “marriage” is permitted by the 14th Amendment did indeed act outside their purview, but it had nothing to do with Catholicism at all.
