Exactly my point. In the Northeast and midatlantic, Pacific coast and even some rust belt states, yes, even the rural interiors are mostly liberal. But in the rest of the USA only small enclaves(e.g Austin, TX, Athens, GA) are liberal, and they can be safely ignored. Those folks can outmigrate to liberal-land if they want.
