But it seems very likely to me that even though the Catholic church holds Peter as the first Pope their doctrine is built around Paul`s teachings rather than Peters.

I don't see that at all...The Catholic religion avoids Paul's teaching and gospel at all costs...And certainly Peter never taught the things the Catholic religion teaches...They are a rogue religion that has no basis in scripture...

We hear the words of St Paul at almost every Mass throughout the year and the Gospel at every Mass. How could we possibly be ignoring Paul and the Gospel?
