Well, I wasn’t referring to sexual crimes in that example, even though I probably should have been. I was just meaning to say that there have been serial killers that have been heterosexual as well, not necessarily saying that any of their crimes involved their sexuality, but seeing as how we are talking about homosexuals committing crimes that do involve sexuality, it is a poor example on my part.
But yeah, I believe that about the molestation rate of homosexuals. I ran into a child molester at the age of 7. Dude was married with several children, 3 of them male, his wife ran an after school day care center for the nearby Catholic school, and sure enough her husband was the wolf, and he liked to mess around with little boys.
I don’t know if he was gay or bisexual or whatever, but I do know that his molestations were male on male so that was troubling.

I am sorry you had to encounter such a person. I t is an unfortunate reality that many young males become homosexual as the result of such encounters. I think it is also near 40% of homosexuals in one study admit they were molested.
I have long thought it was a sort of coping mechanism. Being sodomized made them feel tainted, and the only way they could remove the feeling of violation is to convince themselves that there was nothing wrong with it.
Like Stockholm Syndrome, they embrace what happened, because it is their coping mechanism for dealing with it. If they think it's okay, then they won't have feelings of guilt or shame for having been molested.
It also explains why they attack with vehemence any one suggesting that it is sick or abnormal. The belief that it is okay is their mental security blanket and they are deathly afraid of anyone who tries to take that fig leaf away from them.
