What in the world is this about? I have never heard of “grave sucking” and while the writer refutes it, he doesn’t define the practice. What is it?
To: Gamecock

The article linked in post one sez: Evidently, this refers to the practice of a believer going to the grave of a departed saint they revere (for example, Charles Finney or Kathryn Kuhlman) and lay on top of it and/or kneel in front of it so they can receive an impartation of the anointing (or mantle) of the departed saint.

I though ‘grave soaking’ was when you applied urine to the cemetery plot of a deceased person who had wronged you.

You pick a word, beat it to death and it becomes part of the vocabulary

Sure we do, if it’s out there we need to be aware of it. The article certainly isn’t encouraging us to partake in the practice.
