Not that I have an issue with “caring for the Earth” which, to me means “caring for what God has given us”, but do you know of any pre-Vatican II teaching regarding this “caring for the Earth”? I have been checking old catechisms and have found nothing.
Before Vatican II Catholics didn’t try to destroy their surroundings.
