what happened to "the word of mouth" mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 2:15 ?

The letters became Scripture. What about the word of mouth? You just ignore them?????

Please prove that what the Catholic Church teaches today as "tradition" is exactly what the apostles taught as "tradition".
