You are a hoot. You can cut and paste the entire Bible here (as some do) But you never answer the specific question.
You said - The Holy Bible is the recorded Word of God. Everything else is mans erroneous addition and subtraction of the Truth, personified in the Lord Jesus Christ.
I asked where this belief is in Scripture. You NEVER ANSWERED THE QUETION Because you can't. Your man-made belief is not in Scripture, but it is your man-made tradition so you believe it.
You can cut and paste hundreds of verses that mention Scripture, but your man-made belief does not appear once in Scripture.
Now I may be wrong. Cite chapter and verse that supports your specific belief and I will go away.
And lets talk about Deuteronomy 4:2 You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you.
Why is anything after Deu 4:2 relevant? It is all added.
Another bonus question - what happened to "the word of mouth" mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 2:15 ?
So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.
We Catholics know. The letters are the Bible, preserved by the Catholic Church.
What happened to the word of Mouth? What happened to all those things in John 21:25 that could fill more books than the world could hold?
You tell us what happened to word of mouth.....
What is it and how do you know?
How do you know that it is actual teaching from the apostles and not something added later that someone is CLAIMING is from the apostles?
