Protestants do not worship the sun god by proxy, nor expect forgiveness for our sins by eating the sun god’s cookie.

We do not keep the 40 days of Tammuz as catholics do either.

Satan is at the center of those practices, without question.

We do not call a sinful mortal the “mother of God” either.

Protestants do not worship the sun god by proxy,

I'm glad to hear that! (Catholics don't, either.)

nor expect forgiveness for our sins by eating the sun god’s cookie.

Wow... what a coincidence! Catholics don't, either! (Wouldn't the sun god's cookies be awfully HOT? :) )

Seriously: where are you getting all this stuff? Jack Chick? I'm trying very hard not to laugh out loud, here...

We do not keep the 40 days of Tammuz as catholics do either.

We keep the 40 days of LENT. The word is LENT. Think "Jesus in the wilderness for 40 days". Think "Israelites in the wilderness for 40 years". Think "Elijah in the wilds for 40 days". Sheesh. "Tammuz?" Do you think Jesus was a secret "Tammuz worshipper", as well?

Satan is at the center of those practices, without question.

A few questions might have prevented you from falling into such ridiculous nonsense.

We do not call a sinful mortal the “mother of God” either.

:) Brother Christian, that's fantastic! Every last belief you've stated is in perfect accord with Catholic teaching! We don't call a sinful mortal the "Mother of God", either! (The Blessed Virgin Mary is sinless--and has been from the very moment of her conception. She's also quite obviously the Mother of God... unless you're an Arian who denies that Jesus is God? Mary is the mother of Jesus, and Jesus is God; therefore, Mary is the Mother of God. Modus ponens. Q.E.D.)

So... since your list of "things to avoid" is all safe and clear, when are you planning to join the Catholic Church?
