If we cannot know that assurance...which we can....the rest would be meaningless really.... Why would you trust what Jesus said if that assurance isn’t ours?
“I write these things that you may KNOW you have eternal life”....
Not guess or wonder....but Know.
What kind of God would want to leave you hanging like that?
Who would want to follow or trust a God like that?
God said it.
I believe it.
That settles it.
It's too bad many people do not have any assurance of salvation at all. It's a great thing to know, and for others, that does not at all mean people can live like hell, because their sins are forgiven. Not even remotely close.
