Good grief...The Holy Spirit does not come down nowadays and sit on our heads in the form of a tongue of fire nor a dove....He speaks through the Catholic church as He has done from the beginning. I attribute everything done by the Catholic church to the inspiration of Christ and the Holy Spirit.....I didn't think that it was necessary to point out that a 2,000 year old institution didn't get there on its own. The Sacraments, the Eucharist, infallible proclamations....all done through the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit.....hence, infallible.And....they are the sole institution on Earth to be directly guided by Him.....the only one.
Does that include telling the church to elect three popes at once?
Does that mean that you have to believe EVERYTHING the church tells you, even when it contradicts itself?
So in Catholic economy, the Holy Spirit doesn’t indwell the individual believer as Scripture clearly states?
