Why some on this thread fight so fervently to defend a group of men that have ensnared and burdened them with so much weight which they and their families MUST constantly bear to be almost nearly religious enough, assuming they EVER negotiate their way out of the place of purging when they die, and yet decline the life that is still today available in the Lord Jesus Christ and in bearing His yoke alone...why some prefer the former would require someone more versed in psychology, or psychiatry, than I.

I have said it a thousand times. I will say it again. The only doctrine that REALLY matters, is the plan of salvation. What do I, and every man, woman and child on earth have to do to avoid Hell, and go to Heaven? All other issues, like pre trib, post trib, soul sleep, speaking in tongues and other spiritual gifts, as important as they are, do not compare to the plan of salvation. We can debate these other issues till time is no longer time, but I believe God is intelligent enough, to make the plan of salvation SO simple, a three year old can grasp the concept of Heaven and Hell. I hope everyone has a "nice" eternity. 🇵🇭😄😀😃

Phooey. Who wants to follow a fake religion when we have the real deal? The posters just want everyone to see the light. Jesus is the answer and the Bible is our guide book.

And the Catholic church preserved it through the years and thanks to them, we have it to read and learn from....

By claiming to be Catholic, they are THE Christians...the wannabees need to say they are Christians because some are suspect....J. witnesses, Mormans, "Christian scientists", main street church of the Nazarine, open door church, church of the bible covenant, Pisgah church, Church without spot or wrinkle, Blue Ball church, Navigators, on and on with store front operations which have sprung up and are certain that they are the ones....never mind 2,015 years of Christian history...we are it...

The roman jesus born on December 25, killed on good Friday and raised on easter Sunday is a counterfeit. And testing and proving all things with the scriptures the roman catholic church has given us proves it if one has eyes to see.. The church is as phony as the counterfeit they have created according to their catechism..

The dates which people have chosen to acknowledge and remember these events are totally irrelevant the fact that Jesus was in all probability not born on Dec. 25 is meaningless...The fact that we celebrate and honor His birth is very relevant. What difference could it possibly make, to God, what date mankind chooses to honor His coming to Earth???????

Reformations, that is rectifying problems from within is one thing....revolution, and leaving the true church of Christ is quite another....

Catholicism seems to teach that the Holy Spirit comes and goes, that it depends upon how well ‘confessed’ you are at any moment in time for Salvation to be assured at some time to come. Thank you for posting those passages of resounding Truth.
