I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. John 16:12-13
Said the ignorant non beliver
Jesus also said He was a gate.
Satan himself could not have twisted scripture more effectively.
Isaiah 30:8 Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:
Jeremiah 25:13 I will bring on that land all the things I have spoken against it, all that are written in this book and prophesied by Jeremiah against all the nations.
Habakkuk 2:2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
Exodus 17:14 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.
Deuteronomy 31:19 Now therefore write ye this song for you, and teach it the children of Israel: put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel.
Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Revelation 1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
Revelation 14:13 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Still you try to tell us that God didn't intend for there to be a book?
Pillars and foundations hold things up. The ekklesia of Christ uphold the truths found in scripture and taught by the apostles. The Catholic Church makes stuff up like the assumption of Mary, praying before statues, and praying to persons other than God. The Catholic Church can't possibly be the ekklesia of Christ.
Catholics can’t even show that Linus was even any leader in any church. There goes that idea.
In the light of all the forgeries and insertions committed by the Roman church, tell me how I am supposed to be sure that these words were penned by Ignatius of Antioch.
Then which Church is the pillar and foundation of Truth, the Church built on the Rock of Peter?
Please prove that what the Catholic Church teaches today as "tradition" is exactly what the apostles taught as "tradition".
Oh, Jesus ripped the gate out of a goat pen, held it up, and said, "I am this gate" ?
The argument that Christ said He was a gate or anything else doesn't hold water due to the difference in context within the written word and the specific situation Christ was in when He said,:"This is my Body".
Those who Scripture describes as having no life in them obviously prefer to please their Self and Self Alone so leaning on that lame argument or any other satisfies them and Self Satisfaction is their goal, not following Christ.
You mean like y’all do?
The Messianic Kingdom Church, or the Church the Body of Christ? They are different, you know. Both built on Christ as the foundation, but one built on the Kingdom, a earthly inheritance, the law and prophecy, the other built on grace, the mystery, and a heavenly inheritance.
How surprised you will be one day. Surprised and devastated.
See here and tell me again how God didn't intend for His word to be written. Tell me how the apostles didn't know that God's word was to be written down.
Cite chapter and verse where Christ told his disciples to write anything down, and where the apostles said their faith would be based on a book.
Jesus called Peter a movable rock (Petros). Christ is the unmovable bedrock (petra). Peter surely showed he was unstable when he denied Christ three times and wimped out when eating with Gentiles and Jews showed up and Paul had to scold him.
