But Catholics are still free to use Scripture that contain Catholic errors? ALL CHRISTIANS use Catholic scripture...there is no other...It is the incorrect or incomplete interpretation of that Catholic scripture that make you our separated brethren...

Elsie, MM, check this out :-)
There are too many religions of works
And they have many myriads of quirks.
In their minds the guilty ones know
That their works are only for show
But by true faith, God grants us more perks.

So you equate the phrase *good time* with sinful behavior? A person with a regenerate spirit and a renewed mind of Christ would not automatically equate the two. Projection sure is an interesting thing... Now you know that "good time" properly defined, isn't forbidden by anyone...that's not the way the discussion went.....I am not subject to all those rules and regulations so I can have a "good time" no feelings of guilt.
That sounds like a "good time" outside of rules and regulations to me.

No, it wasnt. Christianity flourished in spite of the Catholic churchs attempts to eradicate it. God always has a remnant. EVERY Christian, every one, no exceptions, up until the time of the revolution was a Catholic...EVERY SINGLE ONE...ALL OF THEM.

They did!!!..They were good Catholic Parents whose decisions on your behalf you do not seem to appreciate. I hope your immersion in a pool in Viet Nam was pleasant because that's all that it was.. They were lousy catholics. They enjoyed sinning, and that is what they taught me, to enjoy sinning. All they said, was to go to confession on Saturday, to get rid of all the terrible things I did during the week. They were only good catholics one hour a week, then we were off to the races. We were catholics, that's what we did.
Yes, my immersion in the swimming pool at Bien Hoa Air Base, Republic of Vietnam was a pleasant one. It was hot in Vietnam, so I enjoyed the dip. Thank God, it erased the baptism my parents did to me when I was a baby, even if I did not want it. When I was three weeks old, I jumped up and told my momma, don't ever do that to me again. She obeyed my orders.
:-)
Praise God for the Navs.

you will never be able to rationally defend your position so you are taking the humorous route which sounds like a lot of fun to me!!It IS a lot of fun. It took you a while to figure it out didn't it? I am having fun, so I must be doing something evil.
:-)
Now, don't interrupt me, or I will put another Limerick on you.

People who came over on the Mayflower were Baptists and Methodists. I learned that in my genealogy research. I have 2 families who came over on it.

Do you really think that it would be easier to teach a child directly from the Bible than to use the catechism to convert biblical mores and teachings into everyday life situations??? YES!!! Absolutely, without question.
The CCC does NOT convert Bible teachings into everyday life situations. A more convoluted text does not exist than the CCC. Clear as mud. It contradicts itself, speaks out of both sides of its mouth, so to speak, and teaches unbiblical teachings.

There are no recorded instances of zillions of things in the NT...didn't you read the part where it said something to the effect that all the books written couldn't contain all the things that Christ accomplished????...well infant Baptism was one of them. Prove it.
If it wasn't recorded in the Bible, there where did the information come from?
Show us the trail down through the 2,000 or so years since Jesus walked this earth, to verify your claim.

Catholics LOVE sex..we have more kids than virtually anybody else....(they're brought about by sex you know...)Sure.... /s
And yet the *church* prohibits sex for the least little reason and prohibits priests and nuns from having all those kids and glorifies virginity and celibacy even within marriage.
That's not *loving sex* by any stretch of the imagination.
No, the church may love lots of little Catholics being born, but its whole attitude towards sex is that is the unfortunate means by which children come into this world.

....you can't really come along 1,600 years late and assume that you have the same authority.... Oh?
Matthew 28:18-20
18 And Jesus coming, spoke to them, saying: All power is given to me in heaven and in earth.
19 Going therefore, teach ye all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.
When your church can SHOW what was 'commanded' by Jesus; then you can 'teach' us.
