Yes!! My best friend, here in the area, is my 90+ year old Missouri Synod Sunday School teacher. What a gem! Never any squabbling about faith; we just live it as best we can.

Yes, she's very opinionated; we've been in each other's lives since 1950. She was our next-door neighbor. The last time we got together (my husband went too), she spoke almost exclusively about Jesus for some 5-6 hours. One of the sweetest, strongest, holiest, Christians I've ever known. When we were married in 1984 (my First Communion was on our wedding day), one of our gifts from her was a beautifully handwritten quote from St. Teresa of Avila.
