I'm not discussing that now.

My point is to give some context to this discussion. The right of Papal infallibility has only been used twice in the past 200 plus years.

The concept of much ado about nothing is apt.

that assertion is largely based on a logical fallacy - an argument from silence (in Latin argumentum ex silentio).
