So where in Scripture is a list of the sins that lead to death and the ones that don’t?
Where did the Catholic church get its list of *mortal* and *venial* sin?
You were aware, weren’t you, that the penalty for ALL sin is death?
Lapsed Catholics claim they know it all. So tell us.
Isn't denial of Christ's true church a sin??
As I said in my last post, I have looked before but have never found one.
(This apparent absence of a list interests me. I just noticed that here we have an example of something that may concern those of us who identify as Christians, but there may be no obvious scriptural list or set of criteria that would help us determine what fits in whatever category.)
Where did the Catholic church get its list of *mortal* and *venial* sin?
I'd ask.
You were aware, werent you, that the penalty for ALL sin is death?
I was going to mention a few citations along those lines, but even so there's this distinction in 1 John. It's been interpreted in various ways, and I'm not promoting any particular interpretation of what the distinction is--but there is a biblical distinction made.
