My friend no one can keep the 10 commandments

Agree 100%

...if that is how one believes they will be judged...that is how one will be judged.. and he is sure to fail

Agree again ... but my comment specifically relates to those commands within the 10 commandments that are specifically reiterated in the NT. They are commands ...

How many commands of the Lord are optional for a believer in the NT?

If your answer is anything other than 'none' ... you're missing it ...

Let me highlight by example ... lets take 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.

Just on face value I see 4 of the 10 commandments there (idolatry, adultery, thieving, covetousness)...

If Jesus commands us to obey Him ... we cant pick and choose what to obey just because we are not under the law?

And there is that command in Matt 28 ... 'teaching them to obey all I have commanded you ...'

Roman 10;…4For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes

Do you know the purpose of the law?
