I agree. I married a Jewish man, so no communion for me. I accept that. I have gone to church every morning this week at different parishes, and also participated in the Adoration of the Eucharist today. I want to keep the Catholic church and my faith strong.
Unless you or your husband were previously married (or are incestuously related), I believe that you may still be able to receive a dispensation to regularize your marriage. I would recommend you discuss this with a knowledgeable priest.
I'm not sure that your conclusion is correct...on what grounds are you ineligible??
(I'm going to walk --- which I need to do every day --- and say the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. Seems like I can only say that walking. You'll be in it!)
Marriage to a Jewish man is not in itself a barrier to your receiving Communion. Marriage to a Jewish man without a dispensation would be a barrier to reception of Communion. And of course, you would need to be free to marry—i.e., no previous valid marriage. But the fact that he is Jewish is not, in and of itself, a reason for you to be denied Communion.
