I’ve been sitting in my church for 90 minutes waiting for the opportunity to receive the sacrament of reconciliation, and there’s still 8 rows to go. It’s given me plenty of time to reflect, and now my prayers turn to the six priests hearing at least 400 confessions tonight. It’s an awesome experience!
My mother-in-law went to tenebrae tonight and said they’re still hearing confessions at my parish. I am especially moved when confessions are heard during liturgical services, like tenebrae or stations... or dare I say even Holy Mass.
Good Friday is practically upon us, but at least we know Sunday is coming.
