I vote for “the most blasphemous and deceptive hoax any religion could impose on its people”.That "Mary" thing comes pretty close to the top of that list! Any RC cultist can claim some "vision" and become a "saint" with special abilities to answer prayers and move mountains. Worshipping statues of her and those other dead people are claimed for "holiness"...
