My dad passed shortly before 5PM EST. We knew this was coming but thought he would last another week or so. However, late this morning he went into a very sudden system failure. Sadly I was not able to be there but my sisters and his closest friend were with him in the end. He had received Holy Communion several times during the last week and was given the last rites of the Catholic Church this morning.
I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers for his soul, and prayers for strength and peace for you and all who will miss your father.
Very sorry. Blessings to all.
Prayers up. He who raised you is now in the loving hands of He who saved you. God bless all.
Prayers of comfort for your family. Your dad was prepared and is in a beautiful place.
My dad passed with a rosary in his hands. That was comforting for me.
Prayers sent
We are so sorry.
It doesn’t matter when or how, it always hurts.
May you feel our Father’s loving arms around you at this sad time.
“Lord Jesus, please help this family in their time of bereavement. Your Word says in Psalms 34 that you are near to the afflicted and save those who are of a contrite spirit. As this family enters the “house of mourning”, Lord, may they all consider their own mortality and their relationship with You. May the entire family turn to you, Lord Jesus, and be Born Again according to John 3 and secure for themselves eternal life through the finished work of what Jesus did for us on the cross!”
Amen to all of your prayers !
(prayer) Condolences to you, your family and the remainder of your father’s family and friends.
So very sorry! It comes to all of us...
