I was explaining a Bible passage to some friends one time and I guess I was kind of proud of myself for thinking I had it all figured out.
But then I got to thinking of the Pharisee and the publican, the Pharisee told what a great guy he was and no doubt how smart he was and just kept on talking while the publican never said much because he knew that God could hear him.
The Pharisee probably never even realized God was listening to every word he said but figured people were listening.
Every now and then I am reminded of that and just wonder if God is laughing at my know it all stupidity.
