Overturning the tables in temple may have momentarily affected the revenues coming to the temple...but the tribute money going to Rome was something else. That was paid with a Roman coin--see Mark 12.15-17 (and parallel passages in Matthew and Luke). The coins had Caesar's likeness and inscription on them.
