As for Praying for the Dead, it IS Scriptural.

You and I simply differ on what qualifies as “Scriptural”.

Which is simply another argument by assertion, by which Rcs comfort themselves. You can quote the apocryphal 2Mac. 12, but which proves too much, as that teaches presenting offerings for those who died because of moral sin, for which there is not hope according to Rome. Thus the special pleading that RCs must resort to, that maybe they repented though God killed them because of their idolatry.
