Oh Lord, what a trial! So hard to endure complication after complication. I will redouble my prayers. I can understand your distress --- and I love your beautiful willingness to be grateful for small progress. May the Lord restore you. As St. Teresa of Avila said,

Oh my word, I’m going to snag that for my tagline! My entire last six months have been like this. One complication after another. This surgery did NOT turn out well. My scar is lumpy and brown because of radiation. I probably won’t be able to go through reconstruction. (Tried before chemo, had to have the expander taken out because of infection) Been in hosp twice and to ER maybe 7 times. Wound care dr, Infectious Disease drs, (from infection, not some dread disease, thank God) You name it.
And I’m sorry to say....I’m not very patient. sigh
