No I’m wondering how the act of baptism can differenciate between who is a lutheran...or a methodist...or a protestant....or a catholic...
Same water...same god....yes?
So what makes the baptism different?
How does one become baptised as a lutheran?
Does it only matter upon who is doing the baptism?
Actually my initial response was to terrycarl’s comment (post #403) that we’re all baptized Catholic. No we aren’t. I’m baptized as a Christian follower of Jesus Christ.
Then you responded with a comment about Holy water in different flavors (your post #429). That’s where the holy water part of the equation came into play.
I’m not the one that keeps telling every one that if they’re baptized then they’re baptized as a Catholic. I was disputing that! My allegiance is to no Church but directly to Jesus Christ!
