The Church is the Body of Christ, according to St. Paul. So I guess St. Paul is “nuttier than a fruitcake.”
Unless you can explain how the BODY OF CHRIST can be something other than CHRIST.
According to St. Paul, every member of the Church is an adopted SON OF GOD. (I.e., a son of God the FATHER.)
So, if you can explain how someone can be an ADOPTED SON OF GOD (the Father) without being an ADOPTED MEMBER OF THE TRINITY, go ahead.
When you say Church of course you mean the Catholic church...Paul preached against your Church...
Show me your Church in the scriptures...Show me where ALL of the clergy are unmarried, childless males...Show me where ALL of the clergy are called Father...Show me where Peter is called Holy Father...
Show me where Jesus turned bread into flesh and wine into blood...Show me where Jesus ever told anyone to turn bread into flesh and wine into blood...Show me where all the clergy wore long robes to set them apart from the rest of the crowd...
Your Church is NOT the church of the scriptures...Anyone can see that by reading the scriptures...
The church in the scriptures is not an institution...The church is the body of Christ which is all of the members of the body...It is definitely not an institution...If the body of Christ is Jesus, then I am Jesus, not some leadership of an organization...
So, if you can explain how someone can be an ADOPTED SON OF GOD (the Father) without being an ADOPTED MEMBER OF THE TRINITY, go ahead.
Are you part of the Trinity??? Are you Jesus??? Are you God???
No it's not. The ekklesia is the body of Christ. All those called out by God to be His.
