Del, I’ll try to say this in a nice way.
You simply have no idea what you are playing with.
Someone has led you down a dark, winding tunnel to nowhere.
Sabbaths have nothing to do with months. The Sabbath has run continuously in perfect cycles of 7 since the world was created. It began before there even was a moon. The two are completely independent.
If someone can tell me why Ezekiel isolated a new moon day from the six work days and the weekly Sabbath in Ezekiel 46, then I would be willing to say the scriptural calendar is wrong..
They can’t..
There is no reason except that a new moon day s NOT one of the six work days, and is NOT the Sabbath..
If it was, we wouldn’t read about the ‘six work days but we’d read about the 5 work days in Ezekiel 46.
If it was the Sabbath, we wouldn’t see verse 3 in Ezekiel 46 mention that the people will worship at the gate on the Sabbaths AND on the NEW MOONS.
So for those who let Rome and their rabbis do their thinking for them, what pray tell is a new moon day when scripture differentiates it ( Our Sovereign is instructing Ezekiel in these verses by the way) from one of the six work days and Sabbath ?
What kind of day is it if it isn’t one of the 6 work day or Sabbath?
Because our Sovereign doesn’t misspeak..
Maybe somebody can give an opinion on these verses too about new moons and feasts and sabbaths..
1 chronicles 23:31, 2 chronicles 2:4, 2 Chron 8:13, 2 Chron 31:3, Ezra 3:5, Nehemiah 10:33, Isaiah 1:13,14, Ezekiel 45:17, Hosea 2:11., 2 kings 4:23, Amos 8:5
Not a feast(chag),not a Sabbath... and according to our Sovereign to Ezekiel , not one of the six work days (46:1)
That doesn’t leave much left to try to count to Rome’s ‘continuous’ 7..
