Yes.

A side-note to this, not on direct point to this discussion but still interesting and relevant I think. Everyone inside the house covered by the blood was saved. However, those inside some houses were very frightened that they would be killed. Others rested in God’s promise and enjoyed their evening knowing they were safe and sound under the blood because of God’s promise. Regardless of whether they were afraid, all those inside houses covered with the blood were saved. The difference was the quality of life they spent while the passover took place.

Today, we have the same thing. Many believers in Christ still are afraid and worry about whether they will be OK and go to Heaven. But others know that Jesus blood is efficacious to do what God promised, knowing they are saved and going to Heaven, and are happy and enjoying life, resting in God’s promise. Like the Hebrews of old under the blood of the lamb, even more so today, all believers in Christ will be saved because of Jesus’ perfect sacrifice and blood. It’s just a question of the quality and peace in their lives depending on their faith in the grace and faithfulness of God’s promise.

Jesus was crucified as the Passover Lamb on the eve of Passover. The eve of Passover is a different day of the week each year. Sometimes it is Wednesday, sometimes it is Sunday....
Further, as another poster tried to explain - there are high Sabbaths (annual holidays) and weekly Sabbaths (Saturdays). Jesus was slain on the eve of a high Sabbath.
