So you're arguing that the destruction of Jerusalem and the holy temple-- on the exact anniversary of its last destruction-- something Josephus described was preceded by signs in the heaven and in the Earth, a comet in the sky in the form of a sword, the temple doors opening of their own accord and a voice crying out "Let us depart hence," etc etc., happened outside of the will and judgment of God? Without warning? Without reason? Without hope or explanation provided?
And as for today: God could restore your entire country all at once. Return your temple, your priesthood, give you a mighty prophet, and eradicate all your enemies so that they stop exploding in your schools or shooting rockets at your hospitals. Instead you share it with enemies, and most of your people either remain unconverted or practice superstitious forms of religion. You still are in silence and don't know what exactly is the truth.
Bet you it never happens. It’s a fairytale Jim.
You check who's in the White House lately, or how many Americans voted for him?
You still are in silence and don't know what exactly is the truth.
It would be far better for you to remain silent then to proclaim yourself the exact interpreter of the infinite God. That I should even have to say that shows how far gone you are.
