Yes of course, how can you expect a Christian to believe otherwise? If Jesus was a liar and if the bible was untrue, why would anyone be a Christian? For the Word of God to be true and for Jesus to be one and only way to God as He claims, all other religions have to be false. I am not going to follow a 'maybe' or a 'one possible way out of many'! Jesus is an absolute..."I am the Messiah, there is no other!" Do you understand over a billion people believe Him?
I am assuming you have never read the Bible New Testament and don't know what it says. Jesus made those claims of being the Messiah and the only way to God 2000 years ago and they were angry then too, they even nailed Him to a cross they so hated His claims. If it is not true, why the anger? If Jesus is just a kook why wasn't He and why isn't He just ignored?
The bible clearly and repeatedly says all other religions are false. The OT makes the same claims about all other religions being false during the time of old Testament covenant with God and the Hebrew people. Jews made the same claims then, Christians make now. Same God, same Word.
If Jesus proclaimed to be a "maybe I am the Messiah (salvation of God)" He would have been forgotten the same day he made the claim. Yet here we are 2000 years later and a billion + people believe what Jesus claimed....that He is the Messiah.
The truth of the messiah for Jews is that he hasn't arrived yet. If that is not your truth, it is of no concern to me. You follow your beliefs, I'll follow mine.
Sure I get that. I know what religious Jews believe and I am not telling anyone what they must believe, just what Jesus said all people must believe to receive salvation through him. Why does that make you angry? Why does that cause you to respond with insults? Your replies to me, tell me it does concern you, and a lot.
You are free to believe whatever you want and make any claim you want that Judaism is the one and only true way to God. That does not anger me in the least, if that is your belief. Why are you angry that I speak thus of my faith?
I am asking myself right now, if I didn't have the Messiah would that anger me? Yea it probably would.
