Christ instituted a sacrament covering this subject...The sacrament of reconciliation or penance brings Catholics back to a state of grace after forgiving their sins when they confess those sins and show true repentance for them.He gave us HIS Son that paid the penalty we can never pay

He gave us HIS Son that paid the penalty we can never pay That's absulutely true...and it was His Son who said "whose sins that you shall forgive, they are forgiven.....etc...
So He clearly showed up how to acknowledge our responsibility for being sinners....the OSAS theory is nonsense at best and dangerous at worst.

He gave us HIS Son that paid the penalty we can never pay He did indeed. What is that old saying? He paid a debt He did not owe. I owed a debt I could not pay. I am glad I am not in a works based cultic religion anymore, audaciously thinking I could work my way to Heaven. I would consider that the ultimate exercise in evil human pride.

You mean I don’t need two turtle doves and an unblemished goat any more? Good, cuz those were getting hard to find. (Written with my tongue squarely in my cheek.)
