Sigh. Catholics are the original Christians. I will never cease to be amazed at the voluminous verbiage I see on our FreeRepublic from my Protestant buddies.

Want a real challenge? Go after Muslims and leave the rest of us alone. Might be a bit hazardous, though.

The original Christians were Jews. The "universal" ekklesia has virtually nothing to do nor in common with the Catholic Church. In face, the concept of the Catholic Church is not found in scripture or anything Christ or the apostles taught.

In a perhaps insignificant and apparently fruitless endeavor on these FR RF threads, Christians are contending for the faith as founded by Jesus of Nazareth on Himself as Messiah of the Jews and Savior of whosoever (including every gentile) believes in Him.

An Islam sucks thread would be too boring since 99% of Freepers agree. Why not have another Catholic V Protestant thread? Must have been at least 5 minutes since the last one. I’m sure this one will be different though. Every Protestant and Catholic will see the light and change their mind. Sigh is right.
