I am a Roman Catholic because I believe it is the one, true faith.

I have no reservations about it.

It is the wonderful thing about Catholicism, prots can rail on and on and not make one jot of change in our faith.

It is like your posting to a brick wall.

I have found that these challenges to our Catholic faith actually strengthen my faith. They lead me to read Scripture, The Catechism of the Catholic Church, and apologetics to come to a deeper understanding of our faith. The question about Christ being continually present in the Eucharist is a good example. It led me to the following from the Catechism:

“1353 In the epiclesis, the Church asks the Father to send his Holy Spirit (or the power of his blessing) on the bread and wine, so that by his power they may become the body and blood of Jesus Christ and so that those who take part in the Eucharist may be one body and one spirit (some liturgical traditions put the epiclesis after the anamnesis).

“In the institution narrative, the power of the words and the action of Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit, make sacramentally present under the species of bread and wine Christ’s body and blood, his sacrifice offered on the cross once for all.”

How this happens is beyond all human understanding. For some, nothing in Scripture will lead them to believe. For others, it is Gospel truth.

So? I cannot help it you've been brainwashed and are a member of a cult; I do pray that The Lord will save you from it, and bring you into a saving faith and knowledge of his Son Jesus Christ -- I sincerely do. But, I still ask:

What's the answer to the questions I posed to you? Can you not answer them? Why won't you answer them?

I'm still waiting....
