I did my research in coming to know and believe God’s Word.

And looking around, I see that in America there’s pretty much no fear of the Lord, and everything that’s abominable to Him, that He hates, is becoming celebrated, as if few believe that He’s said there’s a place called Hell and they’ll have to face Jesus Christ for judgment, and so many believe they can decide for themselves what’s sin and what isn’t.

I believe, though, that Jesus the Son of God said and meant that we weren’t to fear men, but God, who can cast us body and soul into Hell, and that there the worm doesn’t die and the fire is never quenched, and there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, but apparently tears there won’t ever do any good. Neither apparently will prayers or “I’m sorry” said to God at that point. Being eternally dead to God and vice versa, that’s a possibility to consider soberly, especially since the ability to do anything, including anything for our comfort and care, is a merely temporary one, granted to us by God, in this life only. Even here, our ability to do things can be taken away partly or totally by age, disease and injury, but by and large we can help ourselves at least some, while those in Hell have no power to do even the slightest thing to relieve their sufferings, ever.

I also believe all the other warnings Jesus and the New Testament writers gave, not just to unbelievers, but to believers as well, such as that there were ten *virgins*, but five were wise, and five were foolish. The wise ones not only were virgins, but they kept themselves ready for the Bridegroom’s coming. They didn’t want to miss Him. He was their overriding thought, so they made sure they had extra oil just to ensure they could meet Him. The foolish ones, though, weren’t that devoted, and were content to think, apparently, that *if* the Bridegroom came, they could scrape by. And when the Bridegroom did come, the foolish *virgins* were rejected by Him, though they went for their oil then, and pounded at His door.

Now, the Bible says to “test the spirits,” and gives us all sorts of different instructions on things, on what to do and how to judge things, etc. And the glorifying of Satan here is glorifying of Satan. The fig leaf supposed reason for invoking Satan and Hell as “metaphors” is just that - and a deception. And if the band believes it, they’re self-deceived.

And is there a connection between such music and the fact that our society rejects and mocks the fear of the Lord, and advocates living at an animal level and glorifies what God has told us He hates, inviting His wrath? Of course there is.

And does such entertainment, hand-in-hand then with a rejection of the fear of the Lord, also go along with all sorts of actual evil acts, attitudes and beliefs today, which make our time and place rival Sodom and Gomorrah’s for evil, where what God says is good and evil is thrown aside for people going by “what’s good in their own eyes”? Is there moral confusion and a massive turning away from God which produces sin and death and it must be believed is delivering souls into Hell while falsely assuring people they have nothing to worry about? Yes and yes. Rebellion against God is the order of the day.

I believe all God’s Word says, including that we’re to find out what pleases the Lord and that without holiness no one will see Him. I also don’t want to be contributing to what causes people sin and further distance themselves from the Lord and His salvation. I wouldn’t want to be found in opposition to Him. I want Him to decide what’s all right for me and what isn’t. I used to live as a lesbian, but from wanting to live on God’s right side, I came to see that I couldn’t. And that wasn’t a pleasant prospect at all, at first. I also went to school for English but work in a low-wage unskilled worker job in essence because what I went to school for I also came to see was outside of and in opposition to God’s will, and I also don’t read the books I used to, for that matter. But it’s no loss to me because I truly don’t enjoy them anymore. I enjoy Jesus Christ and His salvation. You have a lot of joy if you’re rescued out of or spared some horrible situation of suffering on earth, which would only be temporary anyway as we all die, so how much more joy do you have to be rescued from eternal suffering?

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
