I am not sure what a “protestant evangelical” is, but I do know what the Church has received concerning the Eucharist as evidenced by the Scriptures and the Church Fathers and accepted by all Christians up until the 16th century.
Forgive us if some of us continue to hold the historical, orthodox Christian Faith as opposed to the 16th century tradition of men.

I go by the original Word of God, not the traditionsd of the so-called “early church fathers” or the various writings of flawed church councils.

As a former rcc member: I say:

“If you accept Vatican 2,

You think your church is alive.

If you reject Vatican 2,

You admit your church is dead.”

Reading the docs of Vatican 2 was VERY helpful in leaving thr rcc, especially its ridiculous, incorrect, heretical and downright EVIL statements on islam.
