The seder begins with a blessing recited over the first of four cups of wine: "Blessed art thou, Lord our God, King of the Universe, who hast created the fruit of the vine." Jesus himself blessed the first cup in Luke 22:17-18.

Take very careful notice of the blessing here - it is *NOT* the victuals receiving some majick juju... YHWH is called blessed, not the food. It is thanks and recognition...

We are all Children of God. We share a common humanity: body, mind, spirit/soul. We each have feelings, emotions, ideas, beliefs - they may be different, unique to each person, but we are all made in the Image and Likeness of God.

I choose to embrace our commonality while RESPECTING OUR DIFFERENCES. We differ on the truth of Transsubstiation. For whatever reason, my non-Catholic Bretheren choose to become involved in this Catholic belief in a negative manner, purportedly out of concern for souls. It is thusmy duty and privilege as a Catholic, to repair for any disrespect shown to the Real Presence of Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament as a result of this and the second part of the anti-Catholic posts.

God bless you, and give you peace and charity!

Eucharistic Act of Faith

I believe in God the Father Almighty.
I believe in God the Son, Jesus Christ.
I believe in God the Holy Spirit.
I believe in the Holy Trinity.
I believe in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist.
I believe in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Body of Christ, the Consecrated Bread.
I believe in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Blood of Christ, the Consecrated Wine.

I believe that Jesus instituted the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church as His dwelling Home on earth.
I believe in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Sacred Tabernacles of the Catholic Church.
I believe that Jesus is truly present physically among us,
over and above being spiritually present within us.
May this truth be known to all for the glory of God.
Amen.

May the Heart of Jesus, in the Most Blessed Sacrament, be praised, adored, and loved; with grateful affection, at every moment, in all the Tabernacles of the world, even into the end of time.

AMEN!

While “majick juju” is not appropriate terminology for the words at the Seder meal, (it’s outright disrespectful) one must beware of one’s orthography -magic with a “k” at the end could be misconstrued -it was a part of Aleister Crowley’s thelemic “religion.” The TCT Channel had a special on him awhile back: to warn people to AVOID him like the plague. I believe you did not intend that! Just a heads up...
