I thought only the King James Version of the Bible was considered authoritative by Protestants.

I thought only the King James Version of the Bible was considered authoritative by Protestants. Not so.

I thought only the King James Version of the Bible was considered authoritative by Protestants.I have used the KJV, NKJV, Amplified and ASV. I prefer the ASV best. Amplified is good, if you are really trying to get a deeper meaning, such as in Eph 2:8-9. Read those two verses in the Amplified.

I thought only the King James Version of the Bible was considered authoritative by Protestants. No, that is a minority, but i still hold it to be the best.
