Let me reiterate:
a follower of Christ, should absolutely expect continuing revelation, angels, ordination, baptism and an organized, orderly church.
The commonly practiced anarcho-Christianity is a very real harm.
Have you ever considered the New Testament? Is not Peter's vision a new revelation for the Church? How about Cornelius' vision, then confirmed by Paul? Isn't Christ bodily risen to be with his Father in Heaven, standing at the right side of the throne?
There's an entire Bible full of continuing revelation and angels. Don't make the mistake of apostate Israel at Christ's arrival. Come, my Cynical Bear, let us reason together. Though your beliefs be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow.
1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
