“As Jesus the High Priest was the only One to occupy the Womb of Mary!”

“Mary, My Mother,...”

Houston, we have a problem!

John 1:6-13

6 There was a man sent from God whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. 8 He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light.

9 The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

One shouldn’t take anti-Catholicism to the extreme. Mary is Jesus’ mother and deserves honor for that. One woman before, nor after has been so chosen by God the Father and none ever will. Show a little respect.

I do. That's why I stick to what Scripture says about her and not the man-made fairy tales that men have invented.

Believing lies about someone is not respecting them.

There is no teaching of the Catholic Church that ascribes any divine attributes to Mary. Mary is a creature.

On the contrary, .....

From the Catechism of the Catholic church....

http://www.vatican.va/archive/catechism/p123a9p6.htm

969 “This motherhood of Mary in the order of grace continues uninterruptedly from the consent which she loyally gave at the Annunciation and which she sustained without wavering beneath the cross, until the eternal fulfillment of all the elect. Taken up to heaven she did not lay aside this saving office but by her manifold intercession continues to bring us the gifts of eternal salvation .... Therefore the Blessed Virgin is invoked in the Church under the titles of Advocate, Helper, Benefactress, and Mediatrix.”510

Names of God from the Bible. Compare them to the names given to Mary in the above prayer.

Jesus

Hope (our) - 1 Timothy 1:1

Counselor - Isaiah 9:6

Advocate - 1 John 2:1

Mediator - 1 Timothy 2:5, Hebrews 9:15, Hebrews 12:24

Holy Spirit

Comforter - John 14:26

Helper – John 14:16

This is worship of Mary if ever there was.....Attributing to her the attributes of God is idolatry.

John 1:11-12

Oooops: bad translation...

11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.
12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, and said the rosary, and believe little wafers become his body, and are baptized correctly (by someone with AUTHORITY), and light candles he gave the right to become children of God.

I'm just SURE I've left SOMETHING out...

No man can define or delimit God.

Yet Catholicism chooses to define and delimit Mary; giving her GOD-like powers.

Hey, dan. You have something for this?

I’m sure I’ve seen you post stuff about the sacrifice of the mass and Jesus perpetually dying in heaven since His death on the cross is eternally happening in heaven.

How is it contrary to Scripture to say that Mary was conceived without sin, and committed no personal sin?

Why is it NECESSARY for Catholics to assume that Mary was conceived without sin, and committed no personal sin?

Your history is filled with lies and forgeries...And you may as well leave the bible out of the equation since you guys don't even believe most of it...

We believe the part that says "take and eat of this...THIS IS MY BODY".....do you???

I grew up with Bible believing parents, relatives, friends and teachers.

That would, of course, be the Bible that the Catholic church brought to you over 2,000 years....say thanks.

One other thing, choirs and people should learn to enunciate. Just a pet peeve of mine.

Sounds like you're from the south where no one enunciates...move to Wisconsin where EVERYONE enunciates.:)

Those are functions carried out by a human being through the power of grace. They in no way imply that Mary is anyting other than what she is, a creature.
