She was a sinner. She even admitted she needed a Savior. The Bible says everyone has sinned. That includes Mary.

The Holy Spirit calls Mary “ mother of JESUS” in Scripture.

The term “mother of God” is a human construct and not found anywhere in Scripture at all.
