When we partake of the Holy Eucharist, It is Jesus Himself: Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity.

He and His Apostles ate grain off the stalks on the Sabbath. That was a sin to the Jews, too. The Pharisees called them on it.

He was doing alright until he suggested religious activity as a way to combat the flesh.

Engaging in ceremonies or other religious activity is no way to combat the flesh.

The only way to deal with it is for it to die.

A good word study is the discernment between:

Worldliness
Carnality
The Body
The Flesh
Soul
Spirit
Heart

Get’s more interesting when combining both Hebrew and Greek word studies.
