I agree with your assessment, and this is why I also agree that Sisi is a different breed .. and I’m going to be studying his relationship with Israel.

Indeed. Albania is the same way: mostly Muslim but they all love their national hero Scanderbeg, who apostasized from Islam, reverted to Christianity, and fought the Turks with everything he had.

And I’ve heard the Berbers have a similarly loose allegiance to Islam. We need to figure out how to use these feelings of nationalism as a way to pry these good people from the suffocating grasp of the Koran.

Christendom finally had a decisive upper hand over Islam for most of the last century, and we lost our faith instead of passing it on to those who needed it. Sigh.
