You didn’t explain anything, and if you are claiming that the members of the Catholic denomination are going to switch to becoming republican voters, then you are flat out wrong.
If you were right, then the left would not be praying for more Catholics in Texas.

Conservative church-going Catholics are a growing, and influential demographic. That is a very good trend.
When you have two trends going in opposite directions, voting data is not telling you anything.
