What is the Meaning of The Medium is the Message?

This world today is operating under “the medium is the message” ... whereas ... Jesus, as the Son of God, operates under “the message is the medium”.
And thus lies the “disconnect” with many in our culture.
I really like that.
I don't know if it will hold up under reflection, but I hope it does.
