Luther was barely out of the seminary when he started his antics against the Church. I’ve never understood why anyone would consider him as theologian.

Umm, Luther held a doctorate in theology and had been ordained bt the Catholic Church 10 prior to the Reformation.

Compare Luther’s writings to St. Thomas’ Summa Theologica. There’s nothing to debate.

You might pose that same question to our FReeper Lutherans. They will have a different read on him, to say the least. I found his bio on Google and there have been MANY books written about him.
He was also a PROLIFIC writer himself.
